Oil decanting

Decanting is a process to separate mixtures. Decanting is just allowing a mixture of solid and liquid or two immiscible liquids to settle and separate by gravity. This process can be slow and tedious without the aid of a centrifuge.

Our solution De-emulsifier 12.948.00 is an oil decanting chemical that is developed to assist with the separation of oil from water. De-emulsifier is used during the heating process of the oil-water solution, concentration between 1 and 3 % of de-emulsifier. It is important to note that the percentage of the chemical used will vary according to the type and viscosity of the oil being separated.
