OVERVIEW

Oxy Clean is a non corrosive chemical formulation that is not flammable or toxic and is specifically designed to provide “residue free” cleaning and degreasing to oxygen transport equipment.

MAIN FEATURES

Oxy Clean is a broad based cost effective cleaning chemical that is able to clean and degrease oxygen piping, regulators, gauges, valves and all equipment associated with oxygen transport. Test reports of its “cleaning effectiveness” are available.

TECHNICAL BENEFITS

The chemical contains no Caustic Soda and is therefore able to be used on a wide range of metals and surfaces without fear of corrosion.

The concentrated chemical is able to be diluted with water in a typical ratio of 1 part chemical to 19 parts water.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Concentration levels can be varied according to the end use cleaning required to be performed.

For the cleaning of Oxygen transport equipment, a UV light maybe necessary to determine that the correct concentration has been used and drying for this cleaning application can also be assisted with the introduction of Nitrogen gas.

When the diluted chemical is heated to a significant level it can also replace chlorinated hydrocarbons in vapour degreasing tanks.

In all applications it is important that good rinsing with water is carried out after cleaning with Oxy Clean solutions.

PRECAUTIONS

It is recommended that the surfaces to be cleaned or treated should initially be tested with a small amount of the selected chemical in a non-critical area, to determine if any adverse reaction takes place.
